I saw Gazette...I know it was ages ago, but oh well. They were amazing, the best gig I've been to by far. I won't fangirl, I will just say I had the best fun ever, met UFO which made me really happy, and my love for the band has been once again rekindled.

Has anyone heard Porcelain and the Tramps? They're an electronica/industrial band, and at the moment I can't get enough. I seriously recommend you hear them, and become as addicted as I am.

Two more weeks til the end of term, and next weekend my brother is coming to Nottingham to see Gogol Bordello with me. I can't wait, looks to be an amusing night, an awesomely fun band, and it means I can force my brother to help me do christmas shopping!

Also, I'm going to Tokyo for a week in February! Really can't afford it but oh well, that's what student overdrafts are for. There were some spaces left on the Fashion Communication course trip so I'm going...I can't wait. I'm hoping to get the bullet to Kyoto as well, because though I can't afford it...I'm not going to have this opportunity any time soon. I'm so exciteeeeeeeed!

At the moment I'm working on a menswear group project, which at the I am loving. We're sponsored by industry, and our project is based on military and utility uniforms. I love womenswear because of the freedom it offers, but I'm considering doing a menswear collection for my third year. We'll see how it goes.

I never update this thing because I never have anything interesting to say. This year has been rather slow as far as my dA account goes; university has eaten up all of my spare time. It was worth it though, I managed to get a First for this year, which I'm really proud of. I've had the biggest artistic crisis of my life this year...am I a textile artist, an artist or a fashion designer? But now I'm fairly certain, and I'm really enjoying doing what I do. I still miss textiles, and rarely find the time to paint, but I do a bit when I can.

As far as my art goes, I'm not interested much in doing realism anymore, especially Jrock portraits; I want to work on my own style, particularly my illustration.

Norfolk is growing on me, though I still miss the south, it make a nice country retreat at least in the holidays. I got 3 kittens this summer, they're now 4 months old and insanely adorable, I love them to pieces. There are a few photos in my scraps: [link] [link] [link]

My message centre is crammed full, and I've tried to reply to as much as possible, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to delete what's left, for which I feel awful. Thank you for all the favs, comments and watches, I promise to try and keep up with them all this time.

I've got a few things I'll be submitting either this week or next week hopefully, including a drawing of Saga which I started a year ago and finally decided to finish as I've missed drawing a lot recently. Also I should be uploading some pictures of my dress which I finished a few weeks ago, as there is a fashion show tomorrow.

I haven't check dA in ages. Well, I lie. I have, but I haven't done anything with my message centre for ages, I just haven't been in the mood. I hope everyone's doing well, and thank you to everyone who left comments, favourites and watches, which I haven't yet replied to. I've been pretty much bogged down with work right from the start of uni; the course is crazy crazy already. But I also fail just because. Whenever I'm not doing work, I just want to sleep. I haven't been painting at all recently for myself, and it's not looking likely that I'm going to get that Gazette series done any time soon D: oh well. Despite the workload though, I'm having fun.

I saw D'espairs Ray in London on Saturday, and they were AMAZING. It was such an awesome concert, the band was great, the support were too, and they played awesome songs. Zero is omfg cute. <3 I caught Karyu's bottle but it got mauled out of my hand D: aaand Tsukasa stuck his tongue out at me XD It was fuuuuuun!

I haven’t written a journal entry here before as I usually don’t have much to say, save pointless rambling so I keep that for my LJ (which if anyone wants btw, note me, although it’s not terribly interesting). But I have decided it is time. Horrah!

I apologize to everyone for spamming their message centres with deviations, but I got my work back from college this week, so I’ll be updating old photos and adding new stuff. I’ve also added a bunch of pieces and pages from my various sketchbooks to Scraps if anyone’s interested. I will hopefully finally get some decent pictures of Zombie Rock and upload them by next week.

I got the grades to get into uni, and as of the 2nd I’ll be a Fashion Design student at NTU….eee! I’m quite excited, but also worried…I’m not ready at all…damn my procrastination skills. I also got my first offer for someone to buy my work (Zombie Rock ‘n’ Roll), which although I didn’t accept (various reasons…it’s worth more to me sentimentally amongst others) was quite a compliment.

I have a very long to-do list atm and yes…I can’t see any of it getting done any time soon, but hopefully I’ll have at least a little time at uni to do my own stuff.
