One True Soldier....a collection designed for the menswear brand ONETRUEsaxon, whom which we were sponsered by.

The collection was based on uniform and utility wear...these are the fisherboys from our 7 outfit group collection.

I'm really not proud of this project...I'm fed up of seeing it. The collection as a whole worked really well, and within the 7 outfits there were some amazing pieces. A problem with one member of our group destroyed the dynamic a bit, and I don't feel I had the motivation I normally would. It was quite a challenge designing for a brand which is totally different to any I would usually design for, even though I love menswear. I should have made the fisher trousers in grey, I wish that I had now as in my opinion they look a bit costumey...especially with the rope belt...another mistake I feel. What's done is done though, and I have learned from my mistakes. I don't like the coat, but I made it in a day, and that proved to me what I am capable of. It has some really nice detailing which you can't see in the photo which is a shame though…also those buttons were just sewn on for the photo shoot, it now has much nicer, small grey buttons which fit better with the design. ...I'm not quite sure why I'm posting this in the first place. XD
